Looking for a hotel in Winthrop Harbor Illinois or Zion, IL. Not looking for hap and happening hotels or resorts... just a quiet place from where we can go for fishing in Spring and Summer and relax at the end of the day.

Any suggestions?

Yup Winthrop harbor in Illinois is a good place and gets busy during summer. It has north point marina boat docking station that drives lot of people to the town. Considering that I would recommend to book hotel room in Winthrop Harbor in advance to make sure you get a place to stay.
