How late I can catch a Cab in Chicago?

I have guests who are thinking to go out. It would be really late before they return. It has been a long time since I rented a cab so not sure about the working hours of cab companies.

Based on past experience, I believe Cab in Chicago area runs 24 x 7.

Am I right?

You can catch a cab 24 x 7, 365 days... just make sure to have cab number handy and be ready to wait for 20 to 30 minutes. If you are in Chicago downtown or city area then you can just raise your hand to catch a cab when you see one.

Overall, pretty easy to catch a cab if you are in city. But, if you are planning to catch a cab from Suburb then you must call cab company and ask for the pick up time. Make sure to keep some delay time in account to be on safe side.
