Rainbow Falls Waterpark at Elk Grove Village

Rainbow Falls Waterpark is an outdoor waterpark offering tropical experience up north in Elk Grove Village, IL. Park offers the beautiful Sunfish Bay pool and vortex pool called Barracuda Bowl pool by deck. It’s more fun to reach to Dolphin Dive through the Lily Pad Leap. Dolphin Dive Slide requires that you must be at least 48 inches tall. If you are visiting the Rainbow Falls Waterpark with little ones then you might want to hop over to Coqui Frog Pond. Kids love the splash in the tot pool at Rainbow Falls Waterpark.

For tube fun, you need to cross the bridge and reach up to Iguana Island to get the tube from the Corral Coral. You would enjoy the floating on Raging Reptile River. The Calypso Twist provides the thrilling experience through four twisting slides down to the river’s edge. Not only that, 3 story funhouse, Pelican’s Peak, is awesome too.  After having water adventure fun, I am sure everyone gets hungry. Need more energy for more fun. Yup, you can enjoy a meal at the Hide-Away Cafe or eat your picnic food in Coconut Grove and Mango Grove.

After accomplishing all your adventures, you can use the bathhouse which features men, women and family changing areas.

Overall good place to have family getaway in Chicago area. Even park allows special events such as birthday parties and group camping.

Regular Season Hours – (Saturday, June 13 thru Sunday, August 23) – For Pre-Season and Post-Season hours check with Park.
Monday – Friday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday 11:30 am – 6:00 pm

Direction to Rainbow Falls Waterpark:
From I-290 (IL-53), exit at Exit 4, Biesterfield Road, and head east about 0.5 miles past Arlington Heights Road. Biesterfield Road will become JF Kennedy Blvd. and then about 0.25 mile later becomes Reverend Morrison Blvd. The park entrance will be on your left side.

From I-90, exit at Arlington Heights Road, and head south about 2.5 miles to Elk Grove Blvd. Make a left onto Elk Grove Blvd., and take it to Reverend Morrison Blvd. and will see the park entrance on your right side.
